We are a six Doctor British General Practice with just under
9000 patients and a GP registrar (trainee to you old
fashioned types :-)
I am continually amazed that people have had to go
fundholding to get District Nurses, Health Visitors, X-ray
and physio within one building. It's mainly due to the
efforts of our now retired senior partner John Callander
that we work where we are.
Any training practice is always on the lookout for a new
registrar for next year. Snail mail, E-mail or even Bell's
invention will get me for information and Dr David Paton of
Stenhousemuir or Prof Stuart Murray of Glasgow University
could give a wider perspective on the Falkirk group and the
West of Scotland scheme.
